The Story of Mantis Golf Carts
Our story begins with two families camping in their Class A motorhomes, observing golf carts zipping around the campsites. We discovered that 95% of the carts available were full-sized and required a pickup truck or trailer for transport. However, not everyone owns a truck or trailer; some prefer SUVs. That’s when we had the idea: wouldn’t it be fantastic to have a compact cart that could fit inside full-size SUVs? The Mantis Micro Cruzer SD was born – a collapsible golf cart that seats four, perfect for taking with you wherever you go!
We are dedicated to providing our customers with the best micro cart on the market. Our carts feature a larger electric drive system, solar panel assistance for charging, a USB port, and a matching color hardtop roof. Additionally, our carts come with VINs and seatbelts, allowing you to register them in your state if needed.
As our company has grown, we’ve invested in enhancing our carts to stay ahead of the competition. We now include running lights and an auxiliary braking system as standard equipment to enhance cart safety. Introducing the next generation of Micro Cruzer, we proudly offer Micro-lite. Micro-lite boasts several upgraded features: the main floor, rear passenger footrest, and roof frame are crafted from aircraft-quality aluminum, resulting in weight savings of up to approximately 90 lbs. with lead-acid batteries. If you opt for lithium batteries, your total weight savings increase to 150 lbs. The new generation cart will also showcase an upgraded body style, setting us apart from the competition.
As we peer into the future of Mantis, we envision a line of battery-powered collapsible E-Bikes and LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) models. Stay tuned, as there’s much more to come! We will never stop dreaming for future generations!
